Audiosurf
I picked up Audiosurf when Steam was having one of its weekend sales, so i sprang the $5 for it. Overall I have been impressed with the execution of this game. Audiosurf if you are unfamiliar with it, is a game that takes music in any format and develops a virtual track where you as a specific type of car have to accomplish differing tasks based on what you choose to play as. I myself like the ninja car which has to avoid gray blocks while picking up mono colored blocks that change color as you go through the track. No doubt there is a powerful algorithm being used behind the scenes to do what this game does which makes it all the better. It seems to be the same for anyone who plays the specific track which brings the other appealing feature of this game, a scoring system that allows players to be the champion of a certain song. This game works with a weekly radio feature that will allow the player to play the songs of the week, or choose from their own music selection as they play through their favorite songs. This game was a surprising catch for $5 and even $10 when not on sale is easily justifiable to pick this game up.
